Who our Web Development Bootcamp is suitable for

Our Web Development Bootcamp is designed for beginners and intermediates seeking to master client-side technologies for developing the front end of full-stack applications, to a professional standard.

If you want to learn the back end as well (servers, databases, building your own API’s, 3rd party services, authentication and authorisation, and DevOps), then check out our Software Engineering Bootcamp

Learning Part-Time vs Full-Time

The syllabus is exactly the same for part time and full time

Part-time allows you to train without quitting your job, and gives you more time to absorb the material

Full-time immerses you in the content but puts you under more pressure to learn at the speed the cohort progresses

  • Days: 2 per week (Mon & Wed or Tue & Thur)

  • Homework and projects: approx 9 hours per week with feedback provided

  • 1-2-1 support: Available throughout

  • Duration: 24 weeks

Full Time

  • Time: 09:00 - 17:30 UK time

  • Days: Monday to Friday

  • Tasks and Challenges: Set at 14:00 after context setting and instruction

  • 1-2-1 support: Available throughout

  • Duration: 9 weeks (Plus pre-work)

Web Development Bootcamp Student Reviews

  • Web Development Bootcamp student testimonial - Beth | The Jump

Beth, Up-skilled as a Software Developer

The Jump really offers a next level, in-depth course, which I just couldn't seem to find anywhere else.

The teaching by Russell was fantastic. Everything was explained so clearly... He was also always available throughout the week for help with any difficulties.

What's so great about The Jump is that you can tell that literally everyone involved is really passionate about creating a really high quality course. I always felt like I mattered as an individual and not just as a number or statistic to brag about.

Would 100% recommend for anyone wanting to really get into coding seriously.

  • Web Development Bootcamp student testimonial - Lydia | The Jump

    Lydia, Up-skilled

I'll start by saying the staff are all awesome, it's a family run business and they really care about the progress of all their students and will go above and beyond to help you out or give you career advice.

The teaching is also very thorough, so you won't graduate with a feeling that there are holes in your knowledge

I chose this course rather than one at another company, due to the class sizes and languages learned... if you want to learn JavaScript I couldn't recommend better people to teach you.

  • Web Development Bootcamp student testimonial - Josh | The Jump

Josh, Changed Career to Software Developer

This course took me from basic HTML through CSS to JavaScript and React.

Coming from a position of knowing almost no code, I am now confident in my ability to create professional-grade websites and apps from scratch.

The tutor James fits a lot into each class and he's always on hand to solve your problems and help with any extra-curricular coding you might be working on. He's also a helpful guide to the kinds of professional routes and issues you will encounter as a real-life developer.

How are we different from other schools or front end web developer courses?

Small web developer course cohorts for personalised support

Small cohorts

Some schools 150+ students onto their cohorts. We cap ours at 30 so that we can give you personalised support.

commercially relevant web developer training

Commercially valuable

Many Schools teach Ruby. We don’t. We teach you the tech that’s in demand now, like JavaScript and React, because for every Ruby developer role, there’s ~10 JavaScript developer roles.

Highly experienced instructors

Experienced Instructors

Many schools use their recent grads as instructors. We don’t. All our instructors have 15+ years of software development experience. They intuitively know the tech and have a wealth of wisdom.

Making learning web development as accessible as possible

As accessible as possible

We make our training as accessible as possible. You can train either part time or full time; we run our training at a discount to the market; it's online so you can learn from anywhere; we record every session so you can rewatch it; we give you whatever support you need.

Tuition fees and financing options

Our Web Development Bootcamp tuition fee is £6,750 for both full time or part time

If you are funding the programme directly, you can pay a deposit of £1,000 when signing up, followed by 5 equal instalments of £1,150 at the beginning of weeks 3, 8, 13, 18 and 23 to help you manage cash flow.

Alternatively, we’re partnered with specialist education finance providers Lendwise and StepEx.

Lendwise

Lendwise charge interest and ask you to pay the deposit, but they can provide loans to cover the remainder that are repayable over a longer period, e.g. 4 years at ~£151 per month.

Lendwise

StepEx provide a Future Earnings Agreement (study now, pay later). You pay a deposit of £1,000 and replace the remaining course fees with a commitment to repay 8.5% of your earnings across 36 repayment months once you’re in employment with gross earning at least £24K per annum. Course fees are capped at the lower of £13,500 or the total amount collected across your 36 repayment months.
